Lucas Environmental welcomes Eric Ford to the firm. His broad technical skillset includes inland and coastal wetland delineation, characterization, and functional assessment; stream biological assessment; vernal pool ecology and monitoring; rare species surveys; vegetation surveys and monitoring; mitigation planning; and environmental compliance monitoring. As a Registered Professional Soil Scientist, Eric has a high degree of expertise in soil morphology, classification and mapping, and hydric soil identification. He is currently working with the USDA-NRCS and New England Hydric Soil Technical Committee on the development of a new regional hydric soil indicator for soils derived from red-colored parent materials in the glaciated northcentral and northeast region.
